​​​​​Over the past 10 years, Dr. Mandy Bains has earned a reputation for her exceptional knowledge and dedication to providing personalized care in Optometry. With her warm and friendly nature, Dr. Bains understands each patient is unique and she takes the time to listen attentively, build trust, and ensure she addresses their specific needs. With this caring approach, she has been able to build and grow her practice.

Dr. Bains completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in exercise physiology. With her strong passion for health care, Dr. Bains went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science, in addition to her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Eye Institute at Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over the years, she has acquired experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, and pre and post-operative lasik and cataract care for diverse patient populations in Florida, Texas, and Ontario. Her focus continues to be on primary eye care services, myopia management, and contact lenses. Now as a practice owner, Dr. Bains focuses on staying at the forefront of her field by embracing new technologies and staying up-to-date with the most latest advancements.

Dr. Bains is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and playing sports with her husband and two young children.

​​​​​Dr. Geetanchaly (Geeta) Nadarasah graduated with Honours from the New England College of Optometry Class of 2017 in Boston, MA. She completed her Undergraduate Degree with Honours in Microbiology at the University of Toronto in 2009 and her Master’s Degree in Microbiology at the University of Regina. Dr. Nadarasah enjoys providing eye care to patients of all ages. Her optometry school clinical externship sites each provided her with different experiences in optometric care, including the opportunity to work under pediatric, geriatric and glaucoma specialists. She gained extensive experience with comprehensive care including contact lenses, dry eye, and ocular disease. She is currently a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and Canadian Association of Optometrists. She strongly believes in patient centred care and is looking forward to meeting patients of all ages in the Scarborough community.

Dr. Gurjot Chahal was born and raised in Markham. She received her Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Disease and Biology at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. During her externship year, she worked with renowned Optometrists in Boston MA, Newington CT and Beverly Hills CA. She enjoys primary eye care with an interest in dry eyes and ocular disease management. 

In her spare time, Dr. Chahal enjoys traveling, watching Netflix, and keeping up with the latest research and treatment in eye care.

Dr. Chahal is board certified in both Canada and the USA. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
